It’s not a military coup in Myanmar. It’s called Constitutional Takeover of the government as per 2008 Myanmar established constitution requirement.
Because NLD, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and her government blatantly violated the 2008 Myanmar Constitution.
In any Coup d'état, the constitution is also and always abolished simultaneously with the coup. However, in the case of Constitutional Takeover, the constitution is not abolished and is still remains intact.
What the Myanmar military did on February 1, 2021, was legitimately called a Constitutional Takeover of the government.
It’s a temporary caretaker government and will hold multi-parties re-election again in 2023 for reasons everyone knows now.
The 2008 Myanmar Constitution is still intact at present today!
